Richard Feynman (May 11, 1918 – February 15, 1988) was an American physicist noted for making advances in quantum mechanics. His involvement in the Manhattan Project as well as the investigation panel for the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster are some of the highlights in a long and distinguished career.
However it is Feynman’s personality and zest for learning and understanding which has cemented his legacy as a cult figure among the scientific community and popular science enthusiasts alike.
Feynman’s unique outlook on the world is a lesson to us all.
